Children Helping Children
During the mid-term break, myself and three other teachers will accompany the Willow Wheelers on their mission trip to Brazil. Our time in Brazil will be spent visiting schools and clinics in the Favelas. On previous trips, Willow boys have given us small gifts to share with African children. Of course, the children were delighted with the gifts, yet it was the fact that other children had sent the gifts that really fascinated them. They asked me many questions about Willow boys and when I returned here the Willow boys were equally interested in the African children. We are going to South America this year but children are the same the world over. If you would like to send a small gift we would really appreciate it.
- Copies and pencils, crayons or twistable pens
- Balloons
- Skipping ropes
- Deflated footballs and pumps
- Tin whistles/recorders/harmonicas
- Football cards (Match Attacks)
- Loom bands
- Old jerseys and shorts (football/rugby etc.) that may be too small or unwanted
