Social Media and our Junior School Boys

Since the first lockdown in March of this year, we have seen firsthand how the internet, Apps and social media have been hugely beneficial and have changed the educational landscape forever. We have already witnessed the positive benefits of using social media for example the Third Form Grandparents video sent to all Grandparents not only in Ireland but worldwide along with the Fifth Form Thriller Dance; and we look forward to more successful use of this platform for our Infants and first forms Christmas plays. Nonetheless, we must educate ourselves and the boys on the responsibility and respect that we must always have online and in school.

Please read the below letter from the Principal regarding the use of Social Media in the Junior School. Below you will also find the links mentioned in the letter, and we would like to encourage all our Willow parents to spend some time looking at these resources.
