Back in November 2018, over 70 boys ranging from 3rd - 6th class took part in their Irish Board of Speech and Drama Exams.
The boys were busy preparing for their graded exams for the past few months in Speech and Drama Club.
For the exam, all boys had to recite a poem learnt by heart and demonstrate an understanding of stage theory. Those taking part in Grade 3 also had to read confidently from a chosen book, Grade 4 impressed with solo mimes, while Grade 5 and 6 excelled in their solo drama pieces. Well done to all the boys who took part and put such a huge effort into learning their pieces. The external examiners were very impressed with the overall standard!
A special congratulations must go to Jawad and Darragh who were awarded the medal for the best scores on the day.
