Golf Update

Social Golf
Social Golf ran from September to Halloween last year and will resume after Easter for all boys in 5th and 6th Form. The first day of Social Golf will be Friday 24th April. Sign up times through golfwillowpark@gmail.com will be mailed nearer the time.

6th Form Golf Team tryouts
On 24th April at 3.30pm there will be a 6th FORM GOLF TRIAL in Leopardstown Golf Centre, during Social Golf time. Any 6th Form boy wishing to be considered for team selection for the AIJS Cup and Castle Cup Golf Teams should ensure they are free to play on 24th April. Teams will be chosen based on the scores on this day and the results of the Fr. Gavin Golf Tournament held earlier in the year. Again, sign up details will follow straight after the Easter holidays.

3rd & 4th Form Par 3 Competition
Over the past couple of years we have run a very enjoyable Par 3 golf tournament for boys in 3rd and 4th form. The date for this years tournament is WEDNESDAY 29THAPRIL with tee times starting at 3pm. Details for sign up will be circulated via IClassCMS after Easter.

Transport to the Par 3 golf in Stepaside will be the responsibility of parents and one parent must accompany each team heading out. There will be a small entry fee payable on the day also.

Parents Golf Afternoon
If you are a parent (male or female!) who golfs and would like to take part in a parent and teacher golf outing please get in touch with Clare MacManus via golfwillowpark@gmail.com so I can gauge interest. Likely date will be Friday 22nd May with tee off times between 2pm and 3 pm. Venue TBC.
